Features
This
route for Run8 Train Simulator encompasses
210 miles from just north of Folkston, GA
to South of Orlando, FL and includes the
facilities for the Amtrak Auto Train and
other facilities such as the inter-modal,
auto rack loading and unloading, unit coal,
aggregates, orange juice, other fruits and
vegetables. Our route is set prior to the
implementation of the Sunrail project.

Route
History
The
A Line through Florida has provided the
backbone for the state's economy since the
1800s evolving into the Plant System which
ultimately became the Atlantic Coast Line
in 1900. The "A" in A line stands
for ACL Trackage and was designated after
the 1968 merger of the ACL and the Seaboard
Air Line into the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad,
which evolved into the Seaboard System and
ultimately CSX Today.
